AEQUITAS partner attended the Annual Conference “Mergers and Acquisitions in Russia and CIS”

6-7 October 2011 - The Russian Journal "Mergers and Acquisitions" acted as a principal organizer of the Annual Conference "Mergers and Acquisitions in Russia and CIS" in Moscow.

The speakers at the conference were mostly the representatives of major banks and partners of law firms specializing in M&A. The total number of the Conference participants was 168 persons, AEQUITAS being represented by its Partner, Natalya Braynina.

The speakers, among other things, were touching upon the issues of facility acquisition in the CIS by foreign corporations, antimonopoly regulation, restriction of foreign participation in strategic sectors and JV establishment trends in the CIS. Ms. Braynina's report was dedicated to legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions in the oil and gas sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
